Last weekend I spent the afternoon with friends at a gorgeous, small winery in the Megalong Valley called Dryridge Estate. Apart from a delicious wine tasting  accompanied by an equally delicious cheese platter, the truly spectacular view was what took the most of my attention. As my studio has been damp and growing its own fungi in the form of mould – I decided to head for my local rainforest gully with camera in one hand and umbrella in the other.  On the weekend of the 11-12th March 2017 Morpeth Gallery (near Newcastle) held their Festival of Two Palettes. being the first time I have been there I was amazed at the amount of people who attended throughout the weekend. I  have one more major trip on board the Eco Abrolhos this year and it is the one I am most looking forward to.
