WINDRIFTS – SOUTH WEST ROCKS is  an oil painting I painted a couple of months ago. I love the softness of this painting and of course I have been painting sand dunes for the past 30 years. They are an integral part of a seascape but so many dunes are being destroyed by Bitou Bush ( a feral brought in to stabilise the dunes) erosion or destruction by man. Over the past 30 years I have seen a major change in the ecology of the seaside landscape.
