While strictly speaking this spot is not Wedge Island –  it is locally referred to as such. Wedge Island sits off the coast within view of this area which is close to Lancelin – Western Australia. It is a fascinating spot comprised of beautiful dunes with tin shacks hidden among some of the dunes in one particular area. In other places the dunes are vast and beautiful- relatively untouched.
