LADY ELLIOT ISLAND is a beautiful place to snorkel and see amazing underwater wildlife in the very shallow water of the Lagoon. Being a more Southerly reef it has not been badly affected by the warming water. I have been trying to get back there and I am hoping for April when it is time for the turtle hatchlings to emerge. That would be a wonderful sight.
These Rays love to congregate together to rest and cover themselves in sand for camouflage. This underwater seascape sold before it arrived at the Gallery.
