Last weekend I spent the afternoon with friends at a gorgeous, small winery in the Megalong Valley called Dryridge Estate.
Apart from a delicious wine tasting accompanied by an equally delicious cheese platter, the truly spectacular view was what took the most of my attention.
As the afternoon wore on I went for a walk to take in the view and discover what painting subjects I could find – which were everywhere! I am now thinking of a Plein Air workshop here as there is good accommodation in the area and an abundance of really fantastic material to paint.
Truly a magical place.
