Golden Tide was a seascape painted from a dawn walk at Depot Beach (thank you Paul for help with the reference material). Depot beach is a small village but is on the edge of an interesting piece of coastal land. A small bay, fascinating rock pools, and adjoining beaches . At dawn the sun is rising over the ocean – often with the backdrop of a patchwork of clouds. A beautiful place for Plein Air painting or simply gathering photographic material.
