Another of my Landscape, rainforest series. Antarctic Beech are stunning, moss covered ancient trees living in small remnants of rainforest in some cooler climate areas of NSW and the Border Ranges Queensland.. Some may be 3000 years old. This forest where I have seen the luminous fungi and the Giant Snail reminds me of the movie Avatar – other worldly or an ancient world that used to be.
