BLUE LINCKIA SEA STAR AND RAINBOWS –  10X12 – SOLD

It is such fun to paint these beautiful and colourful sea stars. Surprisingly they can be the size of a small dinner plate and also surprisingly they feel quite brittle and hard to the touch. Visually they appear velvety and soft but that is not the case. Of course they should not be handled or taken out of their environment. The one I handled was with permission from an authorised ranger on Lady Elliot Island. They do make a wonderful addition to a seascape painting.
