Another wonderful aspect of Hawks Nest was the huge amount of Flannel Flowers along the road to Mungo Brush. I have never seen so many. They were thick along the sides of the road and into the bush. Absolutely beautiful. The dunes along the same road are threatening to engulf the road in places and I have not seen the sand so close to the road before. Not sure what will happen there!
